He was just body painted and then we craved rocks out of foam.

She was a lot harder since her design was based off of a lava rock. My director and I poured expandable foam that is soft and to add the texture we poked at the foam with a stick. Then we added red paint to add detail. Finally we picked up some battery powered lights that she poked through the foam.
